If you’re looking to hear some live music and entertain the whole family, then June Fest in downtown St. Clair Shores is perfect for you. You can look forward to a battle of the bands, animal exhibits and clowns, dance performances, and sidewalk sales from local businesses. June Fest is free to attend and takes place on June 4th, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Blake’s Summer Kick Off offers good family fun for all ages with a variety of events throughout the weekend. Spanning from Friday, June 10th through Sunday, June 12th, events like strawberry picking, pig races, a free fireworks show, pony rides, and live music will keep everyone in good spirits. General admission tickets cost $11.95 per day.
For a weekend of fun, head to the Bay-Rama Fishfly Festival in New Baltimore! There will be food and beverage tents, as well as interactive events like pie eating contest, watermelon eating contest, and ping pong ball drop. There’s also a carnival each day as well as live music each night! The festival runs from June 22nd to June 26th, and admission is free!
For kids who love to laugh and enjoy magic, Rosco’s Silly Magic Show is perfect! Rosco The Clown will be performing a funny magic show, and Jet’s Pizza and frozen treat concessions will be available. Each child gets a clown nose, and the event is going to be held on June 28th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come check out the Outdoor Sports Show for a look at boats, ATVs, pontoons, side-by-sides, jet skis, and much more! Not only can you see some impressive machines, but there’s going to be live music, vendor tents, food trucks, and beer tents. What more do you need? The event takes place on June 23rd and starts at 4:00 p.m.
Nothing says summer like a beautiful, exciting display of fireworks. Take in the nice weather with your whole family as the crowd oohs and aahs at the bright lights. The fireworks will take place at Stony Creek Metropark. While it’s free to walk or ride a bike in, if you drive there will be a $10 daily vehicle pass unless you have a yearly membership. The fireworks begin at 10 p.m. on June 24th.
