With Autumn in full swing, we’ve collected some fun events near our luxury homes for you and the whole family to enjoy. Cozy up in a sweater and bring some hot cider, these November events are ones you’ll want to mark on your calendar.
For a night full of comedy, intrigue, and mystery, head over to Meadow Brook Theatre to watch “Clue: On Stage.” Follow along with the iconic characters from the movie and board game through their misadventure as they try to uncover the secret killer amongst them in Boddy Manor. The show appears nightly. It started on October 13, and it runs through November 7. Find more information and buy tickets on the Meadow Brook Theatre website.
If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit, then don’t miss the Downtown Rochester Festival of Trees! Artists from around the Metro Detroit community submit their creatively decorated trees, wreaths, and centerpieces for display in the Rochester Community House. This event runs on November 20 & 21. Admission is free to the public, and any donations will go to The Big, Bright Light Show.
Looking for a high-energy, funny, and family-friendly concert? Three Men and a Tenor are coming to the Brighton Performing Arts Center on November 19 at 7:30 p.m. Three Men and a Tenor have won “The Best Entertainment in Michigan” 4 times! Learn more about the event and ticket availability here.
Appreciate what the Earth provides us at the East Michigan VegBash on November 21 at the Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site in Shelby Township. The event is described by its founder, Bill Lonskey, as a “celebration of creative and flavorful vegetarian and vegan cuisine, libations, and living.” If you want to kickstart a healthy new diet, this would be a great place to learn some new recipes and ideas.
Who doesn’t love a drive-in movie? Well, for cinema and comfort enthusiasts, Emagine is bringing back the Monroe Street Drive-In for a second season beginning November 12! Showings will be Thursday through Sunday nights each week, with the weekly movie lineup announced each Tuesday. You can reserve your tickets at $20 per car for the 8 p.m. showtimes. It takes place at the Farmer & Monroe St. intersection, and gates open at 7 p.m. The lot has a capacity for 65 vehicles, and this year they have added outdoor 2- and 4-person seating pods that add 26 more seats (first come, first serve basis).
